Let's face it! Mom and pop shops get a bad wrap! (Which I'm here to wrap this review with love and guacamole!) So the first time in a long time. Let's make this one short. Lol. *poodle sighs and judges me.*

    Atmosphere:
I could say that it's a very old restaurant! ._. The poor girl (I'm assuming it's a girl, unless proven something else.) has seen its glory days in the past and at once was the shining peak of the 90s carpet movement. (Who puts carpet where food will fall??? You want ants?? THATS EXACTLY HOW YOU GET ANTS.) But besides that a very pleasant place.

    Customer Service:
We all know how mom and pop teriyaki shops work. If not, then you never paid for rent and was handed out everything in a silver platter. (*stares at you and points to the door. And yells "This place is for hardworking people and peasants that are humble!"*) The cash register lady, was nice and sweet. :) Which is always welcoming. (You know, being a human to another human is nice. In which it's rare to see that nowadays.)

    Food:
Now clearly this isnt 5 star Ched Ramsey and when it comes to rating these places, I base it solely on the type of place this is and what category it falls under. (Aka I flip a coin. "LEAVE IT TO THE DIVINE GODS OF FORTUNE!") THE TERIYAKI IS PLEASENT AND HAVE TO COME BACK WHEN IM NOT BROKE FOR MORE. (Yes I had caps on... but was too lazy to rewrite everything. Lol. ._.)

    Conclusion:
Is this review short enough?? "Are you not entertained?!?!" Lol ^_^ besides my break outs. The atmosphere that give every teriyaki shop a connection to others (*holds both hands close to another without touching.* "aliens.") Pleasent customer service that makes any raccoon heart melt and awesome teriyaki that is worth the price its given. ^_^ Did you know that bears can love too? ._.

Portions were a little bit small. The katsu definitely had good flavor. The shop is little run down but it's cute. Lady there is little hard to understand but seems nice most of time. Hoping for more flavor with teriyaki but it was crispy to point where it was good not too crispy.

Came here yesterday for pickup. I ordered the short ribs and an order of Cali rolls. My order came out in 15min and the staff were very nice. The portions were perfect and the food was fresh and delicious! This is honestly the most meat I have seen on kalbi. Although I didn't stay in, the environment was cute, clean, and conveniently located. Check them out for yourself if you are in the W. Federal Way/ NE Tacoma area.

The food is great. The service is not.

The service is meh. I don't mind the owners too much but because the food is really good and cheap, I keep coming back. They have punch cards, but it doesn't count the $5 teriyaki special. But after 9 purchases you get a free chicken teriyaki plate. Who doesn't love punch cards? Lol

We always get the bento box, because it's only $7.99 and comes with a lot of food. Their yakisoba is really good, and their California rolls are yummy too!!

I'd say this place is best for take-out. Dine-in isn't the best but eh. It's not bad.
